The Mark

The Silicate Tetrahedron

The mark is a silicate tetrahedron seen from above: a silicon atom at the centre, bonded to the oxygen atoms around it. It is the building block of quartz and glass, and the shape our name comes from.

The tetrahedron is the most rigid form in geometry: it cannot deform without an edge failing. One face is solid so the mark reads as a structure rather than a diagram. It represents the standard we apply to mission-critical systems: interconnected, and engineered not to fail.

Neutral Foundation & Product Accents

The corporate brand is ink on a light ground. Each product retains its own accent: the bright variant for dark surfaces, and a darker, contrast-verified variant for text and controls on light surfaces.

Usage

Usage Guidelines

  • Keep clear space around the logo equal to half the height of the mark on every side.
  • Do not stretch, rotate, recolor, or add effects such as shadows or outlines. The mark always points up.
  • Use the ink version on light backgrounds and the white version on dark ones.
  • Below 32 pixels, use the app icon or favicon, which use a heavier version of the mark.
  • Write the name as "Silicate Labs", and products exactly as "1Chat", "FRIS", "PPay", and so on.
